c1910 EASTER GREETING CARD, LOVELY CHROLITHOGRAPHIC EMBOSSED DESIGN - DAFFODILS

Description

Early-1910 Lovely Silver-gilt, Embossed Chromolithograph Easter Greeting Postcard. It is a Raphael Tuck design depicting a spring chicken just hatching with pink and white spring daisies. The embossed greeting says, "To Wish you a Happy Easter." The back states "Raphael Tuck & Sons' "Easter Post Cards" Series No. 701. Art publishers to their Majesties the King and Queen. Printed in Saxony. It was postmarked on March 25, 1910 and sent to Master Rolston B. Stow, in Charleston, NH. It's in very-good condition. The silver-gilt surface shows no wear. However the two bottom corners have creases and wear. The back is slightly soiled, however the message is very easy to read. And the postmark apparently missed the stamp. An interesting and festive "c1910 Easter Greeting Card with a Chromolithographic, Embossed Design - Lovely Daffodils."  This wonderful Easter greeting card measures approx. 4-5/8" x 3-1/2” (≈12 cm x 6.5 cm.)
The card has a dye-cut design on the edges, and on the front there is a vine design border design.  All of the floral design is embossed.  Inside the card is a nice poem entitled "The Dawn of Easter."   (See the third photo.)  The back is blank.  Envelopes were not as common in those days.  Usually if a person gave a greeting card to a friend, they did it by hand.
This unique Easter greeting card is in excellent condition. And there is no wear to the surfaces or the edges.   The the message is very clear and easy to read.

Priority Mail International (Flat Rate) -Delivery can take 10-12 days business.
Very seldom a package will get "stuck" in customs for as much as
a month
.  Please be patient.
We mail all packages in a timely manner. But a
delivery time can not be guaranteed, since the delivery is accomplished through the postal services of two countries, AND the package must be inspected by your country's Customs Department, before being delivered to you.
