    Description

    This is a 70 piece lot - 69 vintage unused greeting cards and envelopes, along with an original "Greeting Cards" cardboard box from J.C. Marchant of New York City. This box has a "Buy War Bonds and Stamps" mark on top.
    There are 27 cards in their original cellophane wrappers with original 10c price tags on some of them.
    There are 15 matching birthday cards with envelopes that came in the War Bonds box.
    There are 27 mixed greeting cards with envelopes (envelopes are not necessarily original.)
    Includes Wedding, Feast Day, New Year, Get Well, Thank You, Birthday, General Greetings, Confirmation, etc. Some cards have fancy add-ons, ("jewels", string, ribbon, die-cuts, overlays, etc.) Mixed eras, circa 1940s-1970s.
